The AfCFTA Roundtable - Opening Address

On Tuesday, October 6th: it was a great honor to host executive representatives from the World BankAfrican UnionUnited Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)Brookings Institution and the South African Consulate on The AfCFTA Roundtable.

The AfCFTA Roundtable is a production of Nazaru LLC and it is designed as a quarterly engagement with leading figures at the forefront of the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA). The goal of the AfCFTA Roundtable is to galvanize, educate, sensitize and mobilize critical global support from Africans, Diaspora and Investors. The AfCFTA is the single most important trade initiative that will drive trade and investment across the African Continent over the next decade and beyond and I feel privileged to be playing a lead role in securing further engagement of both private and public sector in building the Africa we want.

A full report highlighting the outcomes of this engagement would be made available in the coming weeks (contact us to secure advertisement spots in this report that would be distributed to African nations - info@nazaru.com).

Watch the opening address delivered by Dr. Albert Zeufack, World Bank Chief Economist on Africa below.
