Our Partnership with the African Union (AU) to Deliver Trade and Investment Facilitation Training to Africa's Economic Officers

I have the honor of serving as Ambassador for Intra-African Trade Fair by appointment of the African Union (AU) and the African Export-Import Bank. Under this role I have responsibility for facilitating Intra-African Trade and driving the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area.

As a company Nazaru LLC, which I own and run, is committed to advancing trade and investment across Africa and along this line we have partnered with the African Union (AU) in extending our Trade and Investment Facilitation Masterclass to Africa's Economic and Trade Officers across the 55 African Nations as well as U.S. based African Embassies. A Note Verbale to this regard has been issued by the African Union dated 22nd September and directed to The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and All Embassies of the African Union Member States in Addis Ababa and Permanent Missions to the African Union. An excerpt is below:

"Through the Note verbale, the Department of Trade and industry would like to request the esteemed Permanent Missions to convey the offer to their respective capitals especially to ministries responsible for Trade and Investments as well as Investment Promotion Agencies, which may be willing to avail representations to take up the offer...." African Union (AU)

I believe that as Trade with Africa increases we must also develop new skills and techniques to adequately support the growing number of transactions that will emerge. This training is designed for those whose current or future business and policy role requires them to support and increase global and regional trade with Africa.
