Driving Trade and Investment in Africa's Largest Economy; Nigeria under the AfCFTA...
Tomorrow: November 27th, 2020 at 9am CST - Chicago (4pm in Nigeria), I will host the Nigeria Investment Conference (NIC) themed: Nigeria Beyond Oil: Growing Regional & Global Trade under the #AfCFTA. Nigeria is Africa's largest economy and known as an "Oil rich" nation. However, what is less known about this country are the ripe trade and investment opportunities in the Non-oil sectors. This event brings to you leading figures at the forefront of advancing and growing Nigeria's Non-Oil resources through rapid industrialization.
"The conversations we are having is not just another event but we are igniting a dialogue to educate diaspora, foreign investors and Nigerians on how and where to grow trade under the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) within Africa's Largest Economy; Nigeria. Transformation and growth begins at the grassroots level and the State and the Local governments are the engine of economic development. I am excited to host such leaders at the forefront of advancing trade and investments in Nigerian's Non-Oil sectors." Toyin Umesiri, CEO Nazaru and Organizer.

Yes - I know many by now already have what is termed "ZOOM fatigue"... we are all swamped with daily Zoom meetings and calls... this event is being kept as short as possible (2 hours each day). Our events typically last longer but we want to keep engagements high with maximum impact so after the event concludes on Saturday the conversations and engagements will continue on the Trade with Africa® Network in a private group created for all those looking to learn how to trade with or invest in Nigeria. Stakeholders are there from government agencies and the private sector to address your questions. Register HERE.
I have to say a big thank you to the Nigerian Consulate General - New York for their partnership and support on a successful engagement. As nations around the world work diligently to recover economically from the impact of Covid-19 it creates a unique opportunity for us to support in addressing underlining challenges through PPPs and form new and dynamic partnerships and collaborations. I invite you to be a part of this journey to advancing trade and investments. REGISTER HERE!
