I am excited about the future of the world!
Yes, the entire world has been completely disrupted with entire industries turned up side down! No doubt millions around the world have lost jobs - many still uncertain whether theirs would soon be replaced by machines and robots. Entire markets have been strained and valuation of currencies at a free fall. But still there is so much to be excited about....
This is the best time to be fully HUMAN! To be present and reengage with your environment and those in your community. Machines will never replace what it means to be fully human and leaders today must pay attention not only to their bottom line but to their most important assets; their employees. They must care and respond appropriately to shifts in the marketplace; your customers have changed and so must you!
Policy leaders will be at the center of global transformations. From conversations that I continue to be a part of, it is clear that many of them are tired of the status quo. They are hitching for change and it is just a matter of time before they figure out the best way to transform their landscapes and reposition their people for the future.
The Youth would soon take over, they have heard the fallacies and seen the atrocities committed by previous generations. Many of them seek greater meaning to life and this would be the very thing that pushes them into the limelight - their cry for change. They seek mentors across sectors that would guide them, support them and invest in them.
Ok - Enough of this fluffy stuff
Lets get to the real issue: I have been thinking lately about what those in my community WANT. What do you want? I ask myself... I have come to the realization that acquiring what you want could be on the other side of some hard work, painful transformations and showing up fully prepared.
Many however would never PREPARE. Instead they focus on what they want and not what they need to do to get what they want...
What is the difference?
The world truly does not care about what you want! Instead it cares about what you have to offer!
I encourage you to focus instead on what you need to do to get what you want and who you need to be to attract what you want.
This could be the very secret for your success!
We can dream all we want but if we don't BECOME or DO we run the risk of standing in the same spot while the rest of the world race past. There is an American saying:
“In this life, we’re either getting better or we’re getting worse. If we’re not growing, we’re diminishing... The good should always give way to the better. Otherwise, it will at some point inevitably dissipate into the worse. ”
When you GROW you attract MORE. When you DO NOT grow you attract LESS or WORSE you loose what you already have.... because the world would move on without you.
This year I have made some strategic decisions on behalf of the communities that I lead. Let me share a few of those with you:
- I will only host and engage in strategic events and global engagements
- We will shift a few events from 2021 to 2022 to give more room for other critical engagements and client work
- I have made space in my calendar to showup and spend time on; hosting my Tuesday LIVE SHOW where I interview global leaders every week. Our line up is incredible. - My commitment in 2021 is to invest more time to help grow and prepare members of my Trade and Investment Community so that we can all become more relevant in the future of the world.

We will BECOME who we need to BE to attract the types of OPPORTUNITIES we SEEK.
We will achieve EXCELLENCE and become TRUSTED Trade and Investment Partners READY to Drive Global Trade...
